GRAVESHAM BUSINESS NETWORKING EVENT – WEDNESDAY 28th SEPTEMBER
I write to invite you to the next Gravesham business networking event at 08.00am in the Kent Room at the Woodville Halls, Gravesend, DA12 1AU. The meeting will close by 09.30am.
The last networking event held in June was very well received and I thank all those who were able to attend. I hope that we can promote this next event more widely to Gravesham businesses. Do feel free to pass on the details to other Gravesham business colleagues. It is important that you confirm your contact details and whether you are happy for them to be added to the attendance list that will be circulated on the day in your reply. Refreshments will be available and I ask that you confirm your attendance to chris.inwood@gravesham.gov.uk or 01474-337258 by Friday the 23rd September.
Kind regards

Traffic Causes Holiday Getaway 35 comments
Talking about travelling to work – apparently 40% of Brits are deciding that life is too short and book holidays on the spur-of-the-moment. According to a survey by Teletext Holidays one in five per cent decide they need a break when being stuck in traffic on the way to work. Even weather or an argument with a loved one are enough to get people rushing to book holidays.
Does anyone feel that like at the moment, I imagine quite a few considering the summer we have had this year, or not as the case may be!
Great Day 5 comments
I had a great day today, got loads of work done and also managed to gain a new client along the way, who I am looking very forward to working with. An added bonus is that the client is based locally so not much travelling involved.
Not that I mind travelling as I love driving but sometimes it’s just nice to work closeby, mind you mostly I work from home anyway so never really a problem.
I was just thinking how far do people travel to work with clients and what is their limit on travelling bearing in mind the expense? Also would clients consider paying for travelling expenses if they knew that an excellent service was being provided?
